From the silver screen to the Broadway stage, actress Jessica Chastain will soon take her career to the next level, while returning to her roots at the same time!
The Help’s Chastain will be making her Broadway debut in The Heiress, where she’ll play Catherine Sloper!
Jessica recently revealed:
"I started out in theater, I went to Juilliard. Theater is my home. I somehow started making TV shows and film, but now I'm excited to come back home.”
The self-proclaimed theater nerd also confessed that she’s nervous to take on the complex role, which she considers one of the “best roles written for women.”
The show originally premiered on Broadway in 1947, with this revival marking the show’s fifth production on the big stage!
Rehearsals start up in September, while Jessica wraps up her upcoming film, Thirty Dark Zero.
The actress stunned last night at the Tony Awards...maybe she'll bring home an award of her own at next year's ceremony!!
