Molly Ringwald led the 42nd L.A. Pride Parade on Sunday as the grand marshal, celebrating the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities!
Pride, indeed! Having an 80's icon like her on the side of right just warms our heart!
You'll remember that Molly appeared in a commercial opposing Proposition 8, the ballot measure to ban sam-sex marriage, so her track record of support is definitely present! Plus, she is currently writing her second book, When It Happens To You: A Novel in Stories which includes a story about a 6-year-old transgender boy ... a very important story to put out there for the world to read!
You're pretty splendid, Miz Ringwald! Thanks for being part of such a special day for gay!
