James Cameron Sued For HOW MUCH Over Supposed Titanic Thievery!

It's a disaster! Based on a actual disaster! It's, like, disaster squared!!

A woman who claims she had an idea for a Titanic-themed ride is suing FOX, James Cameron, Paramount, and others for $1,000,000,000!! Yeah, a BILLION dollars!!!

Her lawsuit alleges that Titanic - The Experience, a virtual reality type ride that has apparently made over $300 mil for the folks behind the iconic Kate & Leo movie, completely ripped off her original concept!

And, by original concept, we of course mean a real life tragedy that killed over 1,500 people.

We aren't sure if there's validity to the woman's claims or if the courts would ever see fit to award her a cool billion (maybe she'll settle for James C. painting her like one of his French girls?), but either way it's disconcerting to watch folks fight over who can profit the most off of a horrible tragedy.

If anyone deserves royalties for this thing, we're thinking it should be the iceberg! Aww, too soon?
