Oooooh this is so COOL!
The highly anticipated upcoming Girl Meets World series is getting a big star from the original show in the director's seat for one of their episodes!
So who's it gonna be... Danielle Fishel? Ryder Strong? MR. FEENY?!?!
Nope! It's none other than Cory himself, Mr. Ben Savage!
The episode has yet to be filmed, but the story will center around his fictional daughter, played by Rowan Blanchard, and her best friend, played by Sabrina Carpenter, giving an "odd" girl a makeover to make her more appealing.
However, through the makeover the girls they learn that real beauty comes from what's inside! Sounds like it's gonna send a pretty powerful message!
When discussing his directorial debut, Ben revealed that he couldn't be more excited for it!
He said:
"It was a natural progression because I had always wanted to direct and I felt such a personal connection to the show. It was an important piece of my life really. Directing was a natural next step for me and it's something I was looking forward to doing."
We can't WAIT to see how he does!
And more importantly, we can't wait to see THIS TV SHOW!!
If it's even half as successful as Boy Meets World was, then it'll be a huge win!
