Matthew McConaughey Returning For Magic Mike XXL? Channing Tatum Thinks So!

Channing Tatum is already writing the Magic Mike sequel- but will the cast be XXL?

Matthew McConaughey has been awfully in demand since his Oscar and McConaissance! Will he reprise his role as male stripper Dallas?

Channing thinks so. In fact, he's planning on bringing back the whole gang! He says:

"I think everyone's going to be back. I think. Obviously nobody's deals are done which is always kind of scary."

But Channing isn't worried. He has a secret weapon. A role that Matthew simply can't resist! Why? Channing says:

"It's the most McConaughey that I think we've ever seen in a movie, and not just physically. And that's hard to say, because he's shown a lot of physical stuff. But he just, it's just HIM. He's obviously not a stripper from Tampa, but it's just his personality. He's such a believer. He's such an extraordinary being, and he believes in every single thing he does wholeheartedly. And I think that's Dallas."

We're with Channing! (OK, we're always with Channing, but still!) After killing it all through 2012 and 2013, it's clear that Matthew is choosing roles based on what can best showcase his talents.

And Magic Mike can DEFINITELY showcase the most Matthew!
