This week on Lindsay Lohan ’s Courtroom Saga...
The dramz continues for the troubled actress as she and defense attorney, Mark Heller prep for a legal battle. But Los Angeles City Attorney Terry White isn't going to make things easy for LiLo and will strongly urge the trial's Judge James Dabney to grant no more extensions now that plea bargains are out of the question.
A source revealed:
“The prosecutor will absolutely object to any motion that is filed attempting to prevent the trial from beginning next Tuesday... Heller has had more than enough time to prepare the case for trial, and if he tries to pull a stunt at the eleventh hour in hopes of causing a delay, he is going to be in for a very rude awakening. The California courts are overloaded right now, and any delay would only cost taxpayers money.”
Basically, there will be “no special treatment” for Lindsay this time around. In fact, Judge Dabney has already denied Heller’s motion to dismiss the case as well as his motion of continuance.
In addition, it seems her attorney's competence is already in question. Always ready with a quote, it’s no surprise that the actress’ dad Michael Lohan had something to say about this:
“I heard that Mark Heller has decided that he is going to finally get a California lawyer to help him, and he’s going to tell the judge this at the last minute and that will cause another delay, and then Lindsay won’t have to appear... Heller is just looking for a delay, and I’m not going to get involved in this mess.”
Michael also claimed that had his daughter only gone "into treatment, she would have her freedom and her life back. Which obviously Heller is not concerned with."
This trial, set for Tuesday, March 19th, shouldn’t be Lindsay’s only concern. She could still suffer severe consequences for her other legal woes.
Oh, shizz! We sure hope Heller knows what he's doing!!
