While on Monday, it will mark one year since Whitney Houston ’s untimely passing, it seems she will forever be remembered through her music... and in wax?!
This Thursday in New York, Madame Tussauds will reveal four wax figures of Whitney, capturing some of her most legendary moments!
Of the four figures (above), Whitney’s epic 1991 national anthem at the Super Bowl one will be displayed in Washington, D.C., her I Wanna Dance With Somebody figure will be sent to Vegas, a radiant, more recent Whitney from her I Look To You photoshoot will be in NYC and El Lay will receive her Bodyguard figure.
Whitney’s manager and sister-in-law Pat Houston stated:
"We were extremely honored when Madame Tussauds approached us about doing four figures of Whitney from different points in her 30-year career. This is something we are excited to do for the fans."
Not only will the figures immortalize the late great music icon, but it’ll be the first time in 200 years that so many wax figures were simultaneously created on one person!
We gotta say -- while some wax figures can look a little... off, they did an AHmazing job with Mz. Houston’s!
Probably some of the best we’ve seen, that’s for sure!!!
