Better late than never!
Robert De Niro has been acting in film for over 50 years, but it was just yesterday that the veteran actor was honored at a handprint ceremony at the legendary Grauman's Chinese Theater!
Upon literally imprinting his mark on Hollywood forever, the Oscar nominee said:
"I'm a New Yorker. It's where I was born, it's where I live, it's where I raise my kids. It's where I started a film festival. It's home. But Hollywood is home too. They say everyone in the film industry has three homes: the home where they live, the home where their first wife lives, and Hollywood."
The Silver Linings Playbook star— who was joined by his Analyze This co-star Billy Crystal and wife Grace Hightower— was so moved by the gesture that he even started to tear up.
We can only imagine the water works if he wins the Oscar!!
Congrats Robert!
