Sounds like Simon Cowell might have some added competition on the X Factor this year!
With L.A. Reid and Britney Spears both gone from the show, there’s still two seats that once again, need to be filled!
So, just who could potentially be up for a spot on the panel?? None other than Ne-Yo !
At the Grammys on Sunday, the R&B crooner confirmed that he’d been in talks right now to join the show, but that “nothing is set in stone” just yet!
Reportedly, talks had started to take place back in January and we think he’d make a solid judge on the reality show!
After all, he did serve as a guest mentor alongside Nicole Scherzinger , during this past season of the X Factor UK’s judges’ houses round!
He also has his own record label, Compound Entertainment, where he’s starting to sign on new talent like R&B/pop newcomer, RaVaughn!
We're pretty sure the Grammy-winner could make the cut -- he's definitely qualified, if anything!
