And just after he put another legal trouble behind him!
It just NEVER ends with Lil' Wayne , does it?!
You may recall that the rapper was investigated for assault last year after a fan claimed to have been beaten by one of the members of his crew in response to trying to take a picture of him while out on the streets of El Lay!
Nothing seemed to come from it...until now, as the victim, Alfredo Marino, filed a lawsuit today against Weezy, his Young Money Entertainment label, and Trukfit clothing in response to the incident, claiming assault, battery and negligent hiring, training and supervision!
The last bit is most likely because Marino is unsure of who "intentionally struck [him] on the back of his head," but he seems pretty certain that the person responsible was on Weezy's payroll!
However, sources close to the incident claim:
"This alleged situation happened so long ago and really was not a big deal at the time. It is shocking to a lot of us that so many months later this is being brought to court."
Not sure why anyone assumes it wasn't a big deal, considering someone was injured over what sounds to be pretty STOOPID reasoning, but hey!
Can't NOT consider it a big deal now!
We'll be very interested to see how this court case develops!
What do U think?? Is Lil' Wayne at fault here?
