Empress Barbra Streisand made her silver screen starring role comeback in 2012's The Road Trip after an almost 23 year hiatus, is performing a song at this year's Academy Awards for the first time in over 30 years...
AND she's RETURNING to the director's chair to helm an unknown project for Aldamisa International!!
Babz last directed 1991's The Mirror Has Two faces, and is apparently "mulling over several projects."
Aldamisa's president of international sales and acquisitions Nadine de Barros recently expressed:
"We are thrilled to provide underwriting for a filmmaker of her vision, stature and accomplishment."
So ridiculously SOUPED to have so much more Barbra in our life!
We wonder what type of film she's going to opt for?
We're crossing our fingers it's a musical comedy! Babz's comedic talents are undeniable, and even if she's not going to BE in the movie that she's directing, her Funny Girl eye could probably construct a HIGHlarious masterpiece!
