What could possibly make one of the most anticipated prequels of all time even MORE splendiferous?!
STEPHEN F*CKING COLBERT!!!
Yep, Stephen Colbert has hinted that he MAY appear in Peter Jackson's forthcoming trilogy based on the iconic novel by J.R.R. Tolkien!
While he won't be in the first film, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012), he might appear in either Desolation of Smaug (2013) or There and Back Again (2014)!
During a recent interview, Stephen revealed:
Stephen: Peter Jackson invited me to the set last year, I flew out and watched them shoot some scenes and went to some locations. I saw a 25-minute cut, and it was amazing. Jackson knows I'm a big fan of the films."
Interviewer: "Are you telling us you're in the Hobbit movie?"
Stephen: "Could be."
HOH MAN.
We totally hope he plays an elf... he can speak elvish after all!
Or maybe he'll get shrunken into a Hobbit, or perhaps he'll be an evil flesh eating troll!
