Well, it's nice to know he's willing to sacrifice his brunette locks for needy kids! And then he and bandmate Liam Payne can go around feeling each other's velvety heads all the time.
But what will his ex-lover Taylor Swift think?! Maybe she'll write a jaunty tune about it, called But I thought You'd Never, EVER Shave Your Head... Like EVER.
