Well this is a new one!
Lindsay Lohan is MIA after no-showing at work yesterday -- that part isn't new -- and her boss the screenwriter called her out on Twitter and... sent a fictional hitman after her!
LiLo was supposed to be in studios re-recording lines of dialogue she mumbled while filming the The Canyons, but that never happened!
Writer Bret Easton Ellis, the dude who desperately wanted to write 50 Shades of Grey and did write American Psycho, tweeted:
Patrick Bateman has just headed over to Lindsay Lohan's hotel to confront her as to why she missed her fucking ADR on "The Canyons" today...

Patrick Bateman is, of course, the super suave axe-weilding psychotic murdering businessman in Psycho played by Christian Bale !!
We understand Bret is peeved Lindsay's antics have held up yet another film shoot and cost everyone a ton of money but they knew what to expect when they hired her sending a fictional killer after her is a bit much!
And kind of tacky!
Anyway, maybe she had a valid excuse!!
Exhaustion! Arraignments! You never can tell with the lovely Lindsay!
