While Barack Obama was busy mocking Donald Trump on The Tonight Show last night, the Apprentice star was busy defending himself.
He swears that his $5 million offer for the President to prove his life story once and for all to the American people is not a publicity stunt.
If that's the case, then why did he have to go on Piers Morgan Tonight to say that?
Putting the obvious contradiction to his argument aside, here's what he had to say to the skeptical CNN host:
"It's not a publicity stunt. I'm not looking to pay $5 million. Frankly, I have other things. I have my own charities that I contribute to ... It's a serious, very serious offer."
Like we predicted upon watching Trump's announcement, he's already criticizing the Commander in Chief for not taking advantage of the opportunity to "pick up $5 million for a charity" and charged:
"If there's nothing wrong with his applications, if everything's fine, why wouldn't he do it? I think that would be a terrible thing of the President, to not do it in order to pick up $5 million."
Maybe because he's been the President of the United States for nearly four years and if someone doesn't believe he's an American at this point, they probably never will.
