British cops mistakenly assaulted a 61 year-old blind man with a Taser last week and you'll NEVER guess why!!
The bumbling law enforcers were pursuing a ninja guy with a samurai sword and, when they encountered the elderly Colin Farmer, they somehow confused his cane with the weapon!
Whoa, what!? How does that happen!?
Seems their poor, sightless victim isn't the only one unable to see the world clearly!
Colin described the horrible feeling of being electrocuted by those sworn to protect and serve him:
"It felt like I was grabbing an electricity pylon."
Oh, you poor man!!
A police rep offered up a sincere apology:
"We have clearly put this man through a traumatic experience and we are extremely sorry for that. We have launched an urgent investigation to understand what lessons can be learned."
We're glad they're sorry but an after-the-fact apology doesn't erase the memory of the pain!
Rumor has it Colin will pursue legal action against the police force who wronged him. We hope he will be justly compensated!
In other news, the samurai was also apprehended.
