The CW is already starting to make some tough decisions about its new one-hour dramas, and it looks like Arrow is the only one to hit the target audience so far.
The action-drama loosely based on DC's Green Arrow got picked up for a full season after fantastic first episode numbers!
The ratings for Beauty And The Beast and Emily Owens, M.D. on the other hand, have not been what the doctor ordered.
Beauty had decent premiere numbers that dropped precipitously by the second episode. Emily just hasn't found much of an audience at all.
But execs may give both series another chance. They have ordered three more scripts, presumably to see if the shows begin to drop any bombs that might make headlines- or at least make viewers stick around.
If Beauty can keep the numbers of its lead-in hit The Vampire Diaries, it could be the fairest of them all. Time will tell if Emily Owens, M.D. is a Do Not Resuscitate.
