And by villain, we mean confused and angry Dr. Connors who is just trying to grow his arm back. It's not like he wants to destroy the entire city in the process...or does he?

According to the actor, The Lizard "is not a villain, he's just a guy who wants his arm back."
Whether he wants to be a villain or not, he is definitely about to wreak havoc on New York City when the movie opens in theaters on July 3.
As much as we would love to have Spidey's super powers, we wouldn't want to be responsible for taking down a bad guy as badass as The Lizard!
