If lawsuits were decided by a popularity contest, Stephen Baldwin never stood a chance against Kevin Costner .
Luckily, Stephen's allegations that Costner screwed him out of a major business deal with BP were sorted out by a jury. Unfortunately for Alec Baldwin 's brother, he still lost!
Stephen wanted $17 million for being duped into selling off his 10% share of Costner's company that scored a $52 million contract with the oil giant shortly after.
The New Orleans jury decided the fate of the former friends' finances in less than two hours on Thursday and firmly rejected Stephen's claims by awarding him with zilch.
While the loser left the scene without saying a word, Costner said he's glad the truth came out in court because "my name means more to me than money."
