Nearly two weeks ago we were devastated by Andy Samberg’s announcement of his Saturday Night Live exit, but fear not, friends!
Andy clearly had other projects in mind when he ended his SNL career, because it’s just been reported that he’ll be joining a BBC Three comedy, Cuckoo!
Production for the six-part series is set to begin this summer and will plan on airing later this year.
As for Andy’s role in the show? He’ll be playing a character by the name of Cuckoo, who is described as a New-Age slacker who marries an English girl, despite her conservative parents wishes!
Ooh! This sounds like a good comedic role for Andy...!!
We’re excited to hear more about it and are SO happy he’s picked up a new project!
