Since the popular novelist spoke up about his burning desire to turn the E.L. James books into screenplays, Bret has been on a frantic Twitter spree.
He says David Cronenberg should direct and has suggested everyone and anyone who has ever taken an acting class for the part of Christian.
He endorsed Ryan Gosling , Ian Somerhalder , Logan Marshall-Green, Alex Pettyfer , and Alexander Skarsgård , whose nekkid sexy body he can apparently draw from memory.
He tweeted:
"Cronenberg and Alexander Skarsgård is a no-brainer. I've seen Alexander naked so many times at the gym that we both attend: perfect casting.”
Wow! Uhh, what gym was that again?? We’ve been meaning to work out more!
For the XX-chromosome, Bret wants the stunning Emmy Rossum or Girls creator Lena Dunham -- though he feels the world isn’t yet ready for Lena in that role.
